Okay, I realize the irony by posting this months after his apology but I have something to say. Words cannot explain how I feel about Neal Campbell’s late, rushed, and barely emotional apology. I have many reasons for saying those things because it comes a year after he allegedly logged on to Cali’s Twitter account and “impersonated” her, posting the update which caused Leo to ban her from TWiT. This is just like the mystery about “Who Shot J.R.?” on that show Dallas, except we had to wait an entire year and the guy who fessed up; he’s not the one who J.R. would not send to jail. Now since I’m hosted by a hosting company which does not explicitly allow swear words of any kind, I will have to try to let out my anger about this while avoiding anything that might cause my hosting company to kick me out the door. Now without further to do. Here are the words he says in his post and my replies to his words.

“Since we started GeekBrief.TV, I’ve studied media successes to learn techniques for growing an audience and keeping them interested. Publicly writing something controversial is usually a very good thing to do. You don’t loose as many people as seems logical because people want to stick around to see what you’ll do or say next.” -Neal Campbell

Really… controversy… I guess it works for the people who actually know what they are talking about, people who usually have a good theory that will cause controversy because it clashes with the common watered-down stuff that the people have heard. Also people don’t stick around due to the controversy, they stick around because they light what the guy is saying and they want to hear more. I suspect this is the guy who used to watch “Rikki Lake” and “Jerry Springer” because they’re “controversial.”; I suspect he stopped this because he wanted to look more “smart” then he really is.

“When Cali found out what I did, it obviously it made her angry. To her, politics is private and divisive. She doesn’t enjoy it in the least. I apologized, but also argued my case about the benefits of the controversy. We had recently had dinner with John C. Dvorak and he explained how he has used controversy in his long career as a tech writer to keep people paying attention. I thought Cali bought-in to the idea of creating controversy, but I was wrong.” -Neal Campbell

Well you’ve been married to her for like, I don’t know, 11 YEARS!!! You should know Cali at the time you impersonated her and posted that tweet about global warming. Not only does it show that you do not respect your wife’s wishes, it also shows that you’re 100% intent on controlling her career. Here’s what I think Neal Campbell was thinking in his head.

“Hmmm… If I impersonate Cali Lewis and if I post a controversial tweet then it will make my wife more famous! And it will also make me “Neal Campbell”, recognizable as the husband of a famous celebrity!” -The Thoughts of Neal Campbell

You seriously couldn’t consult Cali before you did this? Maybe she would do it, maybe she would say not; the point is, you impersonated her without consent for personal gain. And when you realized that Leo banned her from TWiT, then you realized you were wrong; because with that, your business opportunities started to go down the drain.

“She was deeply hurt by what I did. She is the kindest person in the world and she didn’t want to embarrass me. She’s lived with letting everyone believe it came from her because of our relationship.”-Neal Campbell

This is what also angers me. You hurt her, you posted that tweet and after all of that, she defended you… Woman should not have to defend Men from their mistakes; if Men never experiences the consequences brought on by their mistakes then they should not deserve to be called Men, just cowards. Worst of all; instead of apologizing for what you have done, you have instead let Cali take the blame. Not once did she feel obligated to say that it was you who did it; she let many business opportunities slip and it’s all because of you.

“The only way I can make it right is to publicly apologize. A private apology is utterly insufficient because what I did pushed her into a public, political battle she didn’t want to fight. She lost friends and business opportunities because of what I did. I hope this blog post will mend some of those relationships. I also want to apologize to friends of GeekBrief.TV and followers of Cali’s tweets. The controversy experiment just wasn’t worth it, especially without her participation. I’m sorry.” -Neal Campbell

You know what’s even more insufficient, not apologizing at all… and now you apologize for placing her in a battle she didn’t want to fight in the first place. You know what, you’re not sorry; you did this “experiment” without consulting her, you did this because you thought this would help her career, but mainly you did this entirely for yourself. What surprised me is that Leo Laporte posted the first comment, and after reading that comment I found some words of text which really proves that you’re a shallow person. Note the highlighted words around a big red circle.

According to the highlighted text, he apologized way back then. Which means that Leo had at least enough emotion to contact Cali and apologize to her. You, you waited a year after the incident you caused and then you posted your “public apology”. While some people may hate Leo for his views on Global Warming and his views on the then 2008 presidential campaign. He is at least more human and less shallow then you will ever be in your lifetime. The conclusion, well it’s obvious. Cali divorces you; seriously. In my personal opinion, she does not deserve scum like you. While you guys used to love each other back then, I think it’s different now. When Cali became a micro-celebrity, it made you think “I’m going to make her into a celebrity, and then I shall bask in the fame and move to Hollywood as the husband of a celebrity.” If you were truly in love with her then you should not let the ideas of fame and success affect your head. Continuing on, it’s a “well known fact” that he produces the show… I’m wondering, isn’t this the reason why the show looks unprofessional.

I remember a time when I found a music video for Geoff Smith’s “Hello, Hello” and it was just, horrible. During the duration of the song, he focused on Cali buying the iPhone. While I do admit that the song was good, he could of done a few things; adjust the contrast of the video, shot it at a slower framerate and at least took the effort to make it a proper music video. This is the same for the video podcast itself; I read around the web that “GeekBrief.TV” has a certain “professional” element to it, I found myself to be more wrong. No offense to Cali Lewis on the more recent episodes but the ones she did with her husband in 2009 are in my opinion campy, unprofessional, cheap-looking and horrible. Not once did the guys even consider getting the lighting right, the obvious production errors fixed up or even the presentation right. Now while I’m mainly interested in the news when I’m looking at a podcast, I consider the presentation to be the most important thing I look for. Whether the host is likable, relatable or knowledgeable, and whether it will make me want to come back for more. I should not have to be focusing on obvious errors such as the ones found in your special you produced on “Leo Laporte”.

I just loved how you overlayed a title over another title, and I absolutely loved how you did not take more then 1 camera into the cottage. I swear that as I watched the videos you produced, I saw Leo suddenly get less clear and muddy throughout the video. I don’t know, you did not have the skill to have a camera directly facing Leo? Superproducer my bottom, you are the tech version of Solar, a guy who claims to care about her only to use and abuse Guru for his own personal gain; and Guru was lead to believe that there was nothing he could do to stop him, he was even forced to perform on stage despite Guru’s health, all for his own benefit. And the quality of the product, there was no effort put into the product; it was all rushed just to cash in. Sure the music’s good but the product feels like there hasn’t been any care put into it.

Also, his political views aren’t really the ones anybody political would recommend. Sure he’s against Obama but for one reason, what he’s going to do to his wallet. Not universal healthcare, not the fact that he isn’t really all that different from George W. Bush, but money. In this world, the rich control everything while the poor have to survive off of scraps. The world loves people who can make money in an economy like this and continue to make money, they are the ones who will survive into the future because they can afford all of the life extension technology. If his political views consist of only what he’s trying to do to his wallet then that’s pretty shallow in my book. I mean just because banks aren’t accepting mortgage offers like they used to after George W. Bush ruined the economy, that is no reason why you should start going all political. I mean just because they denied you for the mortgage (which could be for many reasons; bad credit score, history of underpayments, the fact that they think you will not pay it back in full) does not mean that the world is going to end, in fact it should of made you do things like get more sponsors for your tour or at least rent the damn bus; not go all political just because someone denied your mortgage application.

And closing out my argument is how he tried to save his marriage. Apparently he has gone to 2 support groups because Christians don’t believe in psychology. My advice; they should of just saw a psychologist to at least try to resolve their issues instead of a support group. Which leads me to my next issue; he should of just admitted her love for her instead of trying to find out what’s wrong and fixing it. You couldn’t of just walked up to Cali Lewis and say “I love you with all my heart, I know that I shouldn’t of placed you into a battle based on a hunch, but everybody learns from mistakes and we, we could overcome any mistakes if we stick together.” He couldn’t even do that? I thought you were a Christian… Which Christian represses their feelings of love for trying to find out what’s wrong with the marriage. Additionally, he even claims that he realizes that he has been reborn and now realizes that the marriage he had was magical… During the 11 years he was married to her, did you ever think that you think the marriage was magical? I guess he doesn’t know what he got until it got up and walked away from her, now he’s talking about how he’s reborn, how he wants his wife back and spiritual BS which I just plain don’t believe in (sorry believers of religion.). Neal, the day you started becoming a bad husband was when in my opinion, you started to use her for your own personal gain and when you started to subconsciously think you were bigger then god. Neal Campbell you are a shallow, ignorant, pathetic piece of human flesh and you should of never gone onto her Twitter in the first place and posted that message in the first place, and that is why you fail.

Any of you guys heard of Charlie Check’m? Anybody?… Anybody except atheists and gay bashers? I did not think so, this came to my attention about a few months ago and boy is this guy an idiot. He’s a “rapper” and not just any rapper, he’s an Eminem ripoff!, I know because he has D12 and 50 Cent and Eminem added as friends on his MySpace account. Now normally this rapper would never be recognized nor even be up and coming but here’s the deal, he’s actually up-and-coming despite the quality of his music. Now I listen to music because it’s enjoyable, it soothing, it’s energetic and it even helps me through the hard times, now Charlie Check’m’s music ain’t even music at all, it’s the equivalent of being murdered in the ears and being ripped off for all of your hard earned money. Even he himself rips off his flow from Eminem and the way he says “Roll” in “Roll with an Atheist” is the same as DMX said “No” in “Ruff Ryders Anthem”. He even believes he’s signed to a major label as shown in the picture below.

Now first of all, Unisound isn’t even a major label. It’s an independent label that will handle the publication of any album no matter how sucky it is yet this guy has such an ego that he believes he’s “made it”, when in reality he has not. Even his MySpace Music page show this as he has 1,000 to 2,000 hits for most of his songs instead of the 10,000 up-and-coming artists usually have. The only songs that have big hits right now are “I Look Good” which he is using to gain plays from people looking for Chalie Boy and Who’s That Girl which he has dedicated to about 13 girls. I’m not making this up, I searched on Google and these are the results that came up.

And the quote that he uses…

“I don’t usually do this but you’re so pretty, I have to dedicate my song to you “Who’s That Girl 2010″ on my page. Only you fit the lyircs perfectly”

He’s supposed to dedicate a song to only one girl, looks like Charlie Check’m is as shallow as he gets, he’s relying on shallow girls in order to further his fanbase. They will do anything just to touch Charlie Check’m hot muscular abs and have relations with… Oh wait, Charlie Check’m never had a relationship, he’s still looking for the right girl and apparently it could be anybody. If I was a girl and I had to pick between a regular guy and Charlie Check’m, I’d chose the regular guy because he’s more reliable, more secure and more procreative then Charlie Check’m, who I suspect might have small man parts from acting tough all the time, it’s probably true though since he has big abs and he frequently threatens Gay People alot because they’re a threat to his masculinity.

Speaking of which, let’s talk about his “albums” or as I like to call them “a lazy and cheap excuse to copy songs from one album to another because he’s to lazy to even make entirely new songs for an album”. He has released 7 albums “Using the names Charlie Check’m, Charlie Boy (“so original”) and Charlie Roc (“super original”). And on his records, he unashamedly copies songs from past albums onto his new albums, thinking that they’ll sell millions and he’ll be able to hire a good “promotional team” with the nonexistant money he has. In fact, here’s a search in iTunes for the song “Controled by The Pussy”.

He has it on 5 albums, 5 ALBUMS. This guy is obviously trying to make his songs into hits and what’s the best way to do it, it’s by releasing a single and gaining buzz and actually making good music, not by putting it on 5 albums. If you put it on 5 albums then people will start to think that you’re just relying on this song in order to start your career, you’re just relying on this song which apparently sounds horrible and feels generic in order to make you famous. And if that isn’t convincing enough, he has a skit called Comfort Zone on most of his albums, it seems like he’s trying to be funny like Eminem but he apparently falls flat. That high pitched “character” is not your Ken Karniff, Ken Karniff is weird and funny and enjoyable, he just seems to be very annoying and a degrading stereotype as if black people talk this way. You sir have no understanding about anything my friend, including the record business.

In fact, you don’t even understand woman. Woman need somebody reliable, woman need somebody to help them with the housework, do equal work around the house and be a supporting father if they have children. Not have a man who has big abs and forces his woman to do all the work around the house while he just sits there and neglects his children. Hell he even seems like the obsessive type, he even posted his cell phone number to a girl he doesn’t even know. Normally a relationship works up to the point where the woman feels that he’s trustworthy enough to give him her phone number, but he’s really desperate. Desperate enough to give a woman his cell phone number and ask her to call him since he’s available 24/7 and for the fact that he’s a rapper so he has the idea that woman will be all over him.

So getting back to the albums, all of his iTunes albums have a rating of 1 and a half to 2 stars. Even his reviews say what is wrong with his albums. But this ain’t about that, Charlie has created fake reviews for his albums under the names “Peaches08”, “Flora2010” and “Ronaldo Anderson”, you can clearly tell it’s him because it doesn’t even go into detail about why the album is good, instead it just says that it’s banging and you should buy it. Here is a review from Peaches08.

“This album is most definitetely not your average rap album. Every song has a different concept. Lots of rappers rap about almost the same thing on every song but not Charlie Check’m. I enjoyed the comedy, the musical compositions, the punch lines and the animated flows. nice.”

Yeah… This is obviously made by Charlie Check’m as the average rap fan wouldn’t have an idea about the “musical compositions” and the fact that it sounds like an advertisement. I laugh at the fact that every song has a different concept and rappers rap about the same thing because if we apply this to Charlie Check’m, then we learn that the concepts of the songs are laughable and derivative (almost every song is about the ladies) and the fact that he raps about the same thing, in fact I think he’s trying to build himself a fake fanbase here. Since nobody in the right mind would give a Charlie Check’m album a 5… They would think logically and give it a 1 because they have good tastes in music, they’re not shallow. And also the fact that I know it’s Charlie Check’m is because this reviewer reviews every one of Charlie Check’m’s albums and gives it 5 stars. Think I’m making this up, look.

This isn’t even manipulated in any way, all 6 of those reviews are for Charlie Check’m’s albums and they’re all rated 5. An iTunes reviewer would review other albums by other artists but not a fake reviewer, he doesn’t even make him or herself seem like a different person, the way he types, spells and uses grammar are all the same so you know it’s Charlie Check’m just by reading it. I’m a rapper and the only reviews I’ll get is honest reviews containing honest criticism and an honest score, I would never create somebody to review my own albums for me and give them 5’s, that’s be downright low and downright dishonest. And I’d never use some form or controversy such as being an atheist or hating gay people. Eminem has already voiced his disain for gay people and Christians, so it seems like Charlie Check’m has to use it as a base for his career since in his own mind, nobody has ever gone after christans or gays in rap albums, except Eminem but he’s ignoring those verses that say that.

mc chris is an atheist but he does not say it often. Why?, because he doesn’t rely on gimmicks, all he relies on is making music that he feels reaches out to his demographic, and the music he makes is good and enjoyable. Charlie Check’m however, uses atheism cause he knows that Christians will release press releases on this rapper named Charlie Check’m and give him more publicity. He even released an album called “Listen Without Fear” where he bashes Christians for being evil and hating people when they’re out of church. While I respect Christians, I don’t exactly believe with the whole “God is watching and he will save you” thing and the reason I’m an atheist is because I don’t believe that god exists and everything that happens is purely scientific. But I’m not going to diverge into that, because what happened next will shock you.

Yes, Charlie Check’m got banned from Atheist Nexus and AIM and got his name blacklisted and became a mockery within the atheist community to the point where even non-atheists couldn’t help but make fun of him. A google search for Charlie Check’m turns up a lot of these pages, and most of them are a laugh riot. Now getting back on topic, the theories about why their gay if you can even call that is because they have a “brain malfunction”, but I disagree about what it’s called because a malfunction implies that there’s a problem impeding with the operation of the product but it can be fixed, now a defect implies that the problem is in there but it can’t be fixed so it has to be replaced. Therefore I think the proper term is “brain defect” because it cannot be fixed according to Charlie Check’m.

And let’s not start over the factors. He believes that the brain takes different paths and then takes one wrong turn and it makes the person gay since their sexual orientation is all wrong (he thinks that a man thinking like a woman constitutes as a brain malfunction.) First of all, it’s pure logic that the brain is smart enough to make the right turns during development, there is only a small chance that the brain will make a wrong turn, only a very small chance and that chance can be upped by the environmental factors such as toxins and chemicals so the reason why more people are gay and the reason why we have things like Autism, OCD, ACD and others is because of the environmental factors.

I’ve engaged in a conversation with Charlie Check’m and even though I showed him my logic, he still believes in his logic and he also believes that he’s the arbiter and god combined. In that conversation, he said that gays were protesting against scientists because they are developing a cure that’ll make gay people normal and that’ll undermine their “political agenda”. Since when do gays have a political agenda, they know they’re weird, they know that they’re supposed to be attracted to woman but instead they are attracted to men. Some know their condition and want it cured while others are fine with it and don’t want the cure, so why do you think that gays can manipulate politics and science, why do you think that gays want to stop something that could also potentially cure Autism, OCD or ACD. If a Christian was a scientist then scientific progress would of stopped a long time ago.

He also thinks that in the future when there is a cure for gayness, they’ll be two groups, the group who wants to stay gay and protest and the ones who used to be gay but are now straight so they hate the gays. I also think that gays will have superpowers strong enough to be able to lift the Golden Gate Bridge to Alkatraz and there will be a war that will happen exactly like the movie “X-Men 3: The Last Stand” which I thought was a good movie but let’s get back to the point, a cure would likely involve brain surgery and he does not understand the brain in any way. The brain is a complex thing and one mistake could leave you braindead. Now if I were a gay guy and I wanted to be cured of gayness, which priorty would be first. Would I take the cure and risk everything to become straight or would I not take the cure and stay as I am? I’d probably choose the latter because there is no way of knowing if the brain surgeon is experienced or if he’s going to make a mistake. That’s the reason why brain surgery is so controversal, just one little mistake and you kill your patient, just one. If there is a cure for gayness and while a gay guy is getting the cure, a mistake could happen. It’s just the fact that it’s a very risky surgery and it’s not going to happen exactly as Charlie Check’m says because people put survival over whether their straight or gay.

Which brings me to my next point, he recently released a video of himself saying his reasons to why Gay Marriage is bad on YouTube.

If you suffered through the entire 6 minutes of the video then congratulations. Here’s what I think, the whole thing with gay people trying to make gayness normal is as stupid as your theory that gay teens are stalking straight teens to seduce and have sex with them and make them gay. Look out child predators, things have gotten a lot more stupid. You realize that painting gay teens as sexual predators is homophobic right, in fact, here is one choice quote from his YouTube page from somebody named TimothyRed1990.

“I also support Charlie and most of his views. I was molested by a homosexual at age 13, and it’s a horror I’ll not soon forget. Keep homosexuals away from young boys and call it “garriage” and no one has a problem with what they do in their own bedrooms.”

Really? Cause homosexuals aren’t attracted to young boys, child predators are and since you were 13 you were molested by a child predator. It’s this kind of FUD that Charlie is relying on to spread his views. Not once have I seen or heard of a 15 year old gay boy sexually seduce and have sex with a straight boy, this is completely stupid. I don’t think there even is such a thing as gay teen predators. Charlie has since deleted the blog posts from his MySpace page but he did have quotes that he took out of context, they weren’t even about gay predators, they were about kids who felt unconformable around their gay friends, that doesn’t mean they’re going to have sex with them now is it? It doesn’t, I read the answers and the whole post, I don’t just look at it and think “Oh a gay teen must be seducing a straight teen”.I read it and I come to my own conclusions.

Anyways, trying to make gay normal is impossible because of the way we perceive normal, two men kissing and having sex with each other is not normal and never will be, two people who are in a sexual relationship with each other will never be normal, some adults will feel weird and kids will especially feel weird since they’re accustomed to what they see. Gays are not out to harm children and convince them that gayness is normal, this is a free country and we should have equal rights for everyone. No more X is different to Y because it doesn’t apply to everything. Bikes have 2 wheels and cars have 4 wheels but they’re both modes of transportation.

Gays are not trying to trick people into political submission, I don’t even know what that means. Last time I checked there were people who hated gays because what they saw was wrong and what they was wasn’t normal so they treated them badly. It’s not “like us gays or we’ll brand you a homophone”. Everyone has a right to their opinion, they don’t have to like gays, they don’t have to be in support of gays, they can believe and like anybody who they want. We’re not being forced to like them, we’re not being forced into politics, it’s people like you who make gays worse then they are in real life with your belief that gays have a political agenda, they’re not tricking us nor have they tricked me. I respect gays but I’m straight because I’m attracted to woman. It’s just like they say, “If you’re attracted to woman, you’re straight and if you’re attracted to men, you’re gay” There’s no political stuff in there.

Also he brings this up in the video but gays are not trying to take the identity of marriage. Seriously this guy thinks that if gays take the word marriage then society will collapse. Well in places where gay marriage is allowed, is the heterosexuals identity taken, is society in collapse? I say no because the only change that happens is that gays can marry other gays now. straight people can still marry woman and nothing has changed, it’s just one minor addition. Do you think that we heterosexuals are so stubborn that we refuse to share one word with other people, that we refuse to share the word marriage. It’s like a kid in kindergarten just refuses to share with the other kids, except it’s about gay rights. So where are you getting this, how will gays marrying other gays threaten the word marriage? I don’t feel it, it just doesn’t seem very logical.

So Charlie Check’m, horrible rapper, horrible atheist, egotistical and a retarded homophobe. What more do you want me to say, I’ve been in a debate before and I even gave him tips, which he took as some sort of reply because honestly, who’d reply to a guy trying to help. Anyways, you shouldn’t take anything Charlie Check’m says as serious because apparently those are for “Entertainment Purposes Only” and isn’t that what Eminem said when he replied to controversy when he released “The Slim Shady LP”, how much can you rip off from Eminem, if I sent your albums to Eminem right now he’d laugh at you and burry you so deep that you can never come up for air, even I can rap circles around you. Gays are not bad people, there is no one to stand up to gays because gays are not bullies, they are not evil, they are not oppressive and you will not be a hero for rising up to them, you will just be a guy with an opinion.

UPDATE 01/29/2010:

Looks like he has a new theory, apparently if the brain does not get too much or too little testosterone then this will effect the brain and the gonads which will be malformed for the wrong sex somehow. First off, testosterone only affects the growth of the body, it does not effect the parts of the brain which perceive the sex, it only effects the growth of the brain. The brain is usually smart enough to avoid mostly any defect and testosterone is not going to affect that. The gonads aka the “man parts” is absurd because it cannot be malformed if you’re gay via testosterone, it produces sperm and whether you’re gay or not, you can still reproduce. This is evidence that Charlie has no idea how to come up with a theroy, he just goes with what seems to be the most popular research. It isn’t even conclusive how gay people are gay, they say it’s in the brain but how does it work exactly, and what about all the other mental conditions?

The truth about gay people isn’t exactly solid, the only truth that’s valid is that gay people are attracted to men and not woman. Nobody knows how it works, nobody has any solid evidence and all they have to use is theories. Most people know it happens in the brain but not everybody knows what parts are affected or what makes them gay. Scienctists are still figuring that out and in a few years when it’s figures out what makes gay people gay then the truth is found. Otherwise there is no truth for now, it all feels like lies to me. Until a scientific breakthrough is announced, It’s not the truth to me.

Also he believes that gay people getting married is part of their agenda, a hidden agenda which has no ultimate purpose. I guess that it is to make gay stuff normal, or is it to make gay people touching a straight guys ass legal. See apparently Charlie Check’m believes that gay people can’t control themselves and they go after straight people asking them to suck their man parts knowing that they’re straight. He’s painting gays as people who can’t control themselves and people who can’t respect other peoples spaces when in actuality they are people like you and me, only the change is that they’re attracted to men instead of woman.

While I do respect people who have different opinions then mine, Charlie Check’m’s opinions just make me rage. He actually believes that his music is good and people actually buy it. I actually researched into this and it turns out that Charlie Check’m has to leave comments on the pages of many MySpace women to get them to listen to his music, this brings me to the point. He is very, very shallow. Most people would actually look for qualities in a woman but not Charlie Check’m, he just posts comments on MySpace pages saying how cute they are and how she is his true love. If you leave comments to woman saying that they’re their true love then you’re probably shallow.

I’d also like to say that all he cares about is that his music is being sold. This is one of the stupidest things to care about in the music industry, people should care about making the music good, making them music listenable more them one time and making the music timeless. Not just make songs that will make a quick buck. It seems like all people care about in the music industry is making a quick buck, like I don’t take the time to make music. I have autisim but I manage it because I don’t want to seem like a self-importent jerk who cares about himself. Charlie Check’m however is a self-important jerk who cares about himself.

If you have lurked around then you’ll know that Charlie Check’m spams sites with links to his music, especially “Yahoo Answers”. People hate Charlie Check’m to the point where they have made freestyle raps dissing him, seriously. The only people who buy his music are woman and producers who think they’re big time and can bring people to the top. No sane or smart person would dare buy his music, it’s just so horrible in any way and tell me, if you’re getting “sells” then why are you still living at your house with your mom. Your Barack Obama single sold like 10,000 copies then you should have $9,900 and if your albums are selling at the same rate as your Barack Obama single then you should have $50,000 dollars, so why are you still living with your mom?

Furthermore, if he is so focused on telling the truth then why did he block me and delete my comments, why did he effectively censor me while other people didn’t get censored. Probably because I left a message in the comments saying that he’s no better then the other guy. If you look at them, they’re praising him as the first guy to stand up for gays, many other people came before him, he’s not the first. And if you also observe his comments, you’ll see that some of them are mysteriously being deleted (from other people, not just by me). Guess like he’s not for telling the truth, I guess like he’s covering it. You heard me right, he is actually deleting not just comments but blog posts and videos that contradict any of his comments.

He may seem like he supports gay marriage under a different name but most of the comments he posts contradict that message. Many of the comments he’s made include threats and generally homophic but also absurd things such as the gay teen predators I keep mentioning. There was even a MySpace post where he misquoted questions from “Yahoo Answers” and presented them in a way that seemed like gay people were coming on to them. There was also a few blog posts about how he portrays atheists as homo-loving-faggots and a post blasting the host of an atheist show which cannot be mentioned due to morality issues about how they treated him badly when in reality, it was him who was being bad. Here’s a link to the thread.

So in essence, he is doing the same thing he claims that homo’s are doing, covering up the truth and getting angry whenever he hears the truth. If he was telling the truth then he would not delete anything that contradict his claims, no matter how contradicting it is. But since he’s deleting stuff that contradicts stuff he said then it supports my theory. There was this one video named “Gays violating freedom of speech” about gay people’s freedom of speach and it said that the song “Christian and a homo” was based on a true story and apparently he saw a Christian and a Homo in his fantasy world and decided to make a song about it. I doubt that it’s true because mainly it ties into the theory that gays and christians have hidden agenda. Now if I can get a homo and a chrisitan onto my yard, then it’d be considered a true story.

Let’s get to the point, Charlie Check’m is ignorant (not about gays but about reality), shallow and troubled. He is everything that I hate, his logic is horrible, his theories are stupid and he can’t even face reality. I bet he hasn’t even lived one minute in the ghetto or on his own, all of his living has been done with his mom. He doesn’t know anything about girls, he can’t even choose one and he contradicts himself with every comment he says. The way he titled his video “Why Do I Hate Gay People” even contradicts his views that he supports gay marriage under a different name and he treats every comment against him as an argument, apparently he loves to fight and “debate”. He even does the same thing he thinks the homo’s do, cover up the truth. I don’t think that allowing gays to marry will harm the heterosexual identity, in fact it is still intact in the states where they allow gay marriage. All Charlie Check’m is is a mentally challenged guy who can’t process reality, he can only process fantasy.

Yeah, first blog post in a while, or should I say ever. So anyways I’m at the Grove at Anaheim enjoying a Too Short concert, (before Too Short appeared, there were all these opening acts that didn’t fare up) and midway through the concert, some rock/rap hybrid band was playing and this guy wearing a white plaid shirt and black plaid pants and a black and red hat had bumped into me as part of a mosh pit, you know those pits in rock concerts where you bump into each other. So unexpectedly, he says directly into my ear that he’s going to kill me if I hit him again and I was like “What?’” I was part of a mosh pit, bumping into people is natural, why is he taking this personal? So anyways, I kept my eye on the guy because hell, if he’s actually serious at killing me, let alone killing anyone for the matter then he should be able to do it with all the security guards and stuff. And what he mainly did was use curse words at me negatively as if those swear words were going to make me fear him and bow down to him… Like anyone would be scared from a guy trying to be tough, I’ve dealed with many, many tough guys who think they’re tough in my entire life to know how weak and scared they are.

So anyways, wouldn’t you know it, the guy is always in the front and he never leaves. He keeps looking at me with a menacing grin, I keep looking at him with a menacing grin and it was kind of like a Mexican standoff of who would pussy out first. You know I wouldn’t because he keeps making baseless threats without any action, and I keep saying “Look, If you want me to be scared of you, then you better hit me.” Wouldn’t you know it, the guy never hit me at all, he just kept making baseless threats and using vulgarity like I was going to be scared by it. I mean this guy acts like he’s in high school and he has to act like the bully and be tough cause he’s going to be picked on if he’s not cool and let’s face it, I don’t think that he has any friends at all in high school. Fast forward to the next time I came up front and wouldn’t you know it he told me to get out of front and I told him that “I’m not scared of you if you don’t hit me” and he did the next gayest thing that a bully could do. He took off my glasses and threw them on the floor, not like I can’t see without them but he’s acting like a high school bully who wants his target to fear him, next thing you know, security comes around him and I had to be forced out of front.

I felt pretty mad after I got kicked out of front, so I yelled out a vulgar, hate-filled rant about how he’s lucky that he has security around him and that he would of been beaten up anyway if he was in public with no security. Not that I wouldn’t beat him up, that would be very cruel. So I tried to contact the manager and he was out, then I had to contact security because they were the ones who could help me with this issue and I described the issue and detail and gave the physical details of the punk who thinks he’s so tough and so mighty. In fact, let’s call him Mr. Big Shot. And after a few minutes/hours (I couldn’t tell), he was thrown out like the loser he was, so much for proving he was tough and cool for sneaking and smoking pot inside of the venue. I’m not joking here, I thought they were cigars or cigarettes at first but the guard told me that there were some people who has snuck in and smoke some pot which is prohibited in a non-smoking venue. So much for peer pressure, I don’t scumb to it because I know what’s cool and I don’t need some teens who are misinformed about what’s cool by being tough, smoking pot and riding flashy rides.

This brings me to my point, why do bullies even try anymore? It’s like they’re trying to be strong and powerful just because they have an inferiority complex. And you know it’s the worst part when they start to swear at you a lot. Like when has swearing become effective in scaring somebody, it’s mostly everywhere nowadays, from TV shows to the internet, hell even music. So what makes him think that swearing at me like a big shot is going to make me pee my pants and flee in terror. That’s what I keep saying, “I’ll become scared of you once you hit me” because if a bully hit’s someone hard enough to the point where they bleed, then it proves that they are serious, they don’t care and that they’ll do anything to keep you out. These guys I truly respect because they’re true to their word, even though it might be violent. Not like those bullies who intimidate people by lifting them up, yelling at them and pushing them against the wall, these guys are pussy who don’t know how to fight or even defend themselves. Hell if there home was taken away and they had to live in the streets, this would be the last day that you’ll ever see them alive ever again.

Furthermore, what gives them the right to think that just because they’re big and muscularly, that gives them the right to act cocky. I have a muscular body and I do not act cocky about it, (I am not making this up, I exercise about every day just to keep up my physique, if you think that I was fat or overweight or out of shape then you need to have your brain checked.) the most usage my muscles get is lifting heavy boxes from point A to point B and when cleaning (which requires you to move your arms around in circles BTW.) Matter fact, if you think that I made this whole situation up or I fabricated parts of it, think again. Why would I lie to you about this situation? Why would I lie just to get a few more followers. Matter fact, why would I lie for fame? Mostly everybody has fabricated parts of their life in order to get fame, Rick Ross did it and now look at what’s happened! Rick Ross with Rakim, that makes me want to puke inside. Sure I hide most parts of my life, that’s because I’m afraid somebody’s going to manipulate it to make me look like I’m egotistical and I only care about myself, also evil. I could link to it but you’d manipulate it in the time that I posted it. That, and I don’t want certain people back in my life, I already made too many mistakes.

Also I meet Too Short in his Cadillac Escalade Limo leaving The Grove. We had a fun chat, told him I was a big fan and that I owned all of his albums, and that’s about it. It was really, really fun meeting him. Note: I am not making this up, this actually happened. For those of you thinking I got kicked out for trying to get backstage and meet him, you’re very very wrong.

As a Digg user, I’m able to view the latest news from any subject, digg any stories that I find good, comment on them and submit any new stories or site from any source whatsoever. But lately I came across a piece of news about people hating the DiggBar simply because it uses “inline frames”, it’s “obtrusive”, it keeps people on the Digg domain and some other reasons which are entirely stupid. Now… I’ve been using Digg and I entirely like it because it allows me to Digg a page much more conviently after I’ve read it, allows me to share the news piece to other sites, basically allows me a lot of the functions on the Digg site (except the ability to submit stories) and I don’t see what the big fuss with the DiggBar and that’s just my opinion. But as usual Digg user’s are making an uproar because of the reasons stated above and it just seems entirely stupid because they’re making up any reason they can just to complain. Oh it isn’t right, oh this is different, oh Kevin Rose has betrayed us all.

First of all, people say it’s obtrusive, How is it obtrusive then any other toolbar out there today (web or not)? It’s not ginormous or anything or a size that’ll consume up most of the screen and it doesn’t even interfere with anything, I can read the article just fine without anything obstructing my view. And also, I don’t get the thing about it being in a separate inline frame being bad. First off, the DiggBar is resizable, I’ve tried this and the DiggBar just hides the text slightly and the inline frame resizes horizontally among the window meaning it works with almost every screen resolution imaginable. Secondly the web has changed since the age of flashy design elements and people are designing their websites with an mix of design and style, meaning that their designing sensibly rather then going out of control, just look at almost any site on the web today. Third, some sites still use inline frames and I don’t get the cross compatibility issues that you keep complaining about, rather they resize accordingly just like the DiggBar

Frankly, you guys that hate the DiggBar are just overreacting because frankly you can disable the bar if you don’t like it and if you don’t like Digg then you don’t have to use or join Digg if you don’t want to. While I do agree with some of your guys reasons, this is just completely insane. For people saying that they’re keeping you on Digg’s domain and not redirecting you to the source link, the source link is in an inline frame itself which means that the page gets loaded as normal and that page get’s a view count. Also I need to clear some things up about some of the absurd things that I’ve heard. DiggBar does not display it’s own advertisements per say, there are no Google Ads, no Banner Ads, nothing. If you’re thinking that it’s one big advertisement for Digg then you seriously need some help.

One thing that really bothers me is the fact that people knew that the DiggBar was coming beforehand and it had alot detailed information on how the DiggBar was going to work. It even described in full detail that it was going to be in an inline frame and Digg was going to have a shortened URL. There was even a small dicussion that was before the initial DiggBar release about some doubts that people have about the then unreleased DiggBar which was at the time being beta tested to make sure that Diggers’ would love it and not have a problem with it. You guys could of addressed these issues to Digg before they released the DiggBar and you guys complained about how sucky, that way you could of at least made a difference or at least made the DiggBar a little bit better. You guys could of said “Hey, I don’t like the upcoming DiggBar, there’s a specific thing that I don’t think is right”. Thankfully there’s a feedback button on the bar itself so you guys can help improve it but still, why didn’t some of you guys know about the upcoming DiggBar?

In closing, I have to say that all of you guys are simply overreacting to this, sure there might be people who like it and people who hate it but during the time I’ve used it, I have to say that it’s not obtrusive, that you guys are focusing too much on the inline frame as the source of criticism, that even though they’re keeping you in the Digg domain and not letting you leave Digg, you can just click the X on the top right of the toolbar or disable it entirety and most of the issues that you claim to be problems are exaggerated over the top. I admit that there are some problems such as logging in from the DiggBar is not as dynamic as I want it to be but overall people should just give the DiggBar a chance and not just complain about it because it uses obsolete technology or it radically changes Digg so much. I like Digg but I occasionally don’t like their users because of the childish way that they treat things (A.K.A. The Digg Ban Brigade), but overall the community is very mature, again, just give it a change.

Okay, there hasn’t been many things happening in hip-hop beefs that are exciting, mostly everything’s “been there, done that” and nothing just seems to be burning the rap beef scene, until mostly when a song released by Rick Ross called “Mafia Music” ripped on a lot of people including a specific mention of “Curtis’s Baby Momma” which seems to set off the whole thing. This beef has been the most interesting there is, not for the freestyles (though the freestyles are admirably good), but for the videos and interviews they are doing and all of the stupid stuff that they’re saying. Now this may not be as epic as the Jay-Z and Nas beef or the Tupac and Biggie beef but it is as serious as those beefs and I have to add, slightly funny because of the stuff they’re saying, creating and doing, which makes this one of the oddest beefs ever as with other 50 Cent’s beef that he’s had with other rappers such as Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Cam’ron and most notably Ja Rule which was on since mostly the beginning of 50’s career.

Their beef so far has been mostly entertaining with 50 Cent putting out his “Saturday Cartoon’s” (which I have to admit are very, very hilarious and are done in a rather crude way) and “Pimpin’ Curly” videos mocking pimp culture, people with prison sentences, people 50 Cent doesn’t like, and of course, Rick Ross himself and mostly this beef has mostly involved an altercation over 50’s “Baby Mamma”. Not I don’t get this because they might of had a prior sexual relationship or it might be for some other reason which I can’t completely explain or something but it’s very frequent in this beef, as many of their freestyles constantly reference her in some way, including Mafia Music. I don’t know if this is relevant to the post or whatnot but he also put DJ Khaled’s mother into the rap beef (since he’s affiliated to Rick Ross and whatnot) and then released a video showing where he lives, where he works while reading some sort of deadly and scary poem about what a physic told him.

Every person who is watching the beef is saying that 50 Cent is ripping apart his life piece by piece as he promised, and he is directly eating him up. I kind of see why Rick Ross is such an easy target, mostly because he lied about being a drug dealer and is a revealed law enforcement officer. If I were coming up as an up-and-coming rapper, I wouldn’t lie about who I am just to get people to buy my records or give me a bit of legitimate street credibility, and I wouldn’t try to cover up the fact that I was in law enforcement. Mostly because if I wanted to get in a business or reach the top, I wouldn’t lie about who I am, I’d probably be 100% honest because if they found out that you were not who they say you are, then they’d probably rip you apart and your career would be over in an instant or you’d lose much of your street credibility, I also probably wouldn’t be in Law Enforcement before suddenly changing directions because it would possibly result in their image being misrepresented or tarnished

What’s odd is that 50 Cent is putting out a lot of online videos instead of freestyles, mostly he thinks that the videos between Soulja Boy Tell’Em and Bow Wow are the future of rap beefs in which the freestyle will be completely eliminated. Now I don’t particularly agree with him because mostly diss songs and battle raps will always be a part of hip-hop and if we were to take away one element of hip-hop, then it wouldn’t exactly be hip-hop now would it? I think that 50 Cent is winning this battle because he knows that Rick Ross is trying to present himself as something else and he’s unloading a lot of dirt on Rick Ross and making him look entirely stupid. Both of them are saying some pretty ridiculous things but Rick Ross is saying some stupid things that “Deeper then Rap” will sell more then “Get Rich and Die Tryin’”, that he would bribe G-Unit into joining him and that he would steal his fans sorely by his lyricism only. I find that kind of blasmephous because your rapping skills does not overshadow his past job or the fact that he lied.

Okay, most of you people do not think that this is relevant but I have something to say about DJ Khaled. Mostly I have some problem with him, I think that his music and collaborations are great but the problem is that he’s being considered an artist in the same way that he’s creating art. Personally I think he’s lowering the bar for who should be considered artists, it kind of hampers the people who are serious about making or producing music. He barely produces any songs on any of his albums and his whatever it is only consists of shouts with various catchphrases such as “We the Best” shouted in a loud voice and “Listennn…” said in a way that sounds oddly British, the fact that his shouting is considered to be equivalent to a rap or singing is somewhat appalling. What’s worse is that he’s avoiding rap beefs which kind of makes him a coward, how can he be truly regarded as a rap star if he’s just avoiding every beef that he encounters. He’s even president of Def Jam South and he doesn’t even have a gold album, it won’t be long after he gets replaced or he starts ruining Ludacris or Young Jeezy?

I’m not trying to start a beef with either 50 Cent or Rick Ross and I’m not trying to side with either one of them. I personally think that they’re both great artists and they have their respective share of hits and I anticipate buying both of their albums whenever they come out. I just wanted to give my opinion of the beef and there’s nothing wrong with that right? Seriously, I mostly think that Rick Ross is making some sort of a fool of himself because his career might be at an end and he needs to probably stall it as long as possible and 50 Cent with his hilarious cartoons and his parody on pimp culture is apparently winning this beef based on the number of people who root for him but still… I’m not for anyone of them nor do I particularly care much about this beef, just thought that I would clarify that. But whenever there is a major rap beef, you’ll be sure that there will be people to give their opinions and root for their favorite rapper to beat that other rapper senseless.

I mostly use Google Maps all the time, to find directions to restaurants, places I need to get to, hotels. So I’m listing examples of what I might use Google Maps for, I don’t travel out often but mostly I like to look around at major cities and use street view to see the sights. I haven’t used Google Maps as of late but there is a new bill that is forcing companies based in California to blur out any seemingly potential Terrorist targets such as Schools, Government and Medical buildings, anything that looks secretive and anything that might be considered a terrorist “threat” which includes almost anything. I don’t know what the governor who is issuing this bill is thinking, that this will prevent terrorism… Google Maps can only see the tops of buildings and only the view of the street, not the inside of the buildings. How can this thing plan terrorism other then the fact that it could be used to find locations if anyone were to use the map casually to find locations nobody has ever found before.

Mostly he is insane, the reason being is that it’s censorship, meaning that anything objectable, or anything that could be harmful, dangerous to children or might promote terrorism is immediately blurred out or removed as soon as possible. I understand that there are many guides on the internet that show people how to do these things and mostly 30% or more of the internet is potentially offensive, but the fact that anything could be considered a threat to terrorism is partially stupid. The reason why I use partially stupid is because there are mostly some things that could be used for terrorism that we don’t know about yet but come on, we’re mostly prepared for a terrorist attack that hasn’t happened yet or possibly will not happen. I understand the safety of everyone and the thought of preventing terrorism once and for all and this might have a very, very small chance of working but I think the bill is stupid and the guy doesn’t have an idea how it works, though I do applaud his bravery.

Think about it, if a normal people were to be looking for a hospital of some sort, let’s say that they’re sick or that they need urgent attention. They would find that the hospital is blurred out for some reason, prompting some confusion as to why an average hospital would be blurred out. Or if they needed directions of a school of some sort, they would find it blurred and would also prompt confusion as to why the school is blurred out. I don’t know why a hospital or a school would need to be blurred out considering that as said above, it’s a top down map only and Street View does not allow you to view the campus or the back of a hospital. Furthermore if there were an impeding Terrorist attack, they would most likely be able to evacuate everyone safely and be able to defuse the bomb or shoot down the missile or whatever the terrorists might be doing. Also they would need blueprints of some sort because they would not know the interior or the structure of the building as Google Maps and mostly other map programs only show the roof.

Also, because the governor issuing the bill might not know that the bill applies to the US only, which means that the aformented things listed above will only be blurred in the United States and any other potential terrorist targets outside of the US will not be blurred. If the governor realizes that Google Maps may be used to plan Terrorist attacks in the US may be used to plan attacks in other countries such as Asia, Africa, South America, Russia, and other foreign countries. I’m not saying that I support the attacks on other countries but I’m pointing out a minor flaw in his bill. It would be that America is potentially safer and the other countries are even more vulnerable and valuable since it would be easier to plan out using Google Maps or any other mapping program that he might mention. Additionally, this would lead to some invasion of some other country or a crippling of another country of which a terrorist group could do for some reason or another.

More importantly, the plan of blurring out parts of a map is considered censorship to some. Let’s say that you liked something, something that was enjoyable, influential and risky, something that was released long ago. Let’s say that you saw the same thing a few years later, your favorite parts of the book are either changed, toned down or removed entirely. That’s what censorship is like, forcing people to remove or change the things they say in order to appeal to people who are either overreacting, are offended or believe that what they’re saying aren’t right at all. Mostly this feels wrong because people are going to be in a uproar because the government or a bill forced Google or Yahoo to blur out or remove any offensive, inappropriate or classified content, people feel that the way the internet delivers content is screwed up because companies and groups are confused by how they should deliver it and how it might cause an uproar or something.

I appreciate what he’s trying to do but I don’t think this bill is ever going to work. For one, it’s forcing companies to censor their content which people will complain over because the internet is supposed to be a free way to express opinions, two is that how is this going to help prevent terrorism since mostly Google doesn’t have any serious terrorism planning abilities, the blurred out areas are going to be obvious to terrorists, and it’s limited to companies located in California, which means that a company like Microsoft will have clear shots of those areas and it may be used as a terrorist tool itself, and it only covers the US which means other countries are not covered as described above, also the terrorists could use paper maps and phone books to find out places to strike. Three is that it’s poorly planned out, I mean if he truly wanted to prevent terrorism, he would want to take the issue to the United Nations and let them make a decision of whether to blur their terrorist targets or not.

I’m not saying that I support the bill, but with the emphasis on censorship and the fact that it’s poorly planned, I don’t think that it will ever work out. I personally think that there is no probable way to stop terrorism without causing a panic or some controversy but I think that some places are properly prepared after 9/11 to be ready to face this threat should it ever become a reality again, though I do hate the censorship that did come after 9/11 what with shows cutting scenes that involve buildings crashing and all that and that was a major blow for TV shows and media altogether. But I don’t think that maps should ever have to blur out anything just because it might cause some potential harm, mostly all censorship has done was sprout up paranoia and other kinds of fear because what they’re hiding or what they’re doing to free speech or it could be inappropriate for children or whatever insane reason there is and it’s brought no good for everyone except the people who think that it’s right.

Okay, so I’m not a parent but I have read a lot of parenting magazines and have watched a lot of family movies and learned from what they were mostly doing wrong. (aka, neglecting their kids, not noticing that their kids are doing dangerous stuff without knowing, not recognizing something obvious, you know) But this just takes the cake of mostly everything, a mother “Nadya Suleman” who has had birth to eight children is getting all the publicity and it’s mostly negative. For a mom to have birth and then have to take care of eight babies, that’s amazing in my book and makes her an even more respectable parent in everybody’s eyes, being able to take care of eight kids and all. But all she’s been getting is lots of hate, and all because of her seemingly unnatural birthing of eight children.

Ever since she’s birthed those kids, she has received a lot of problems. Like her hospital Kaiser Permanente withholding her babies, the many death threats she’s recieved, an offer to star in a pornographic movie and a combating offer not to star in a porno for diapers then rejecting it for the morality of her children. All in all, she’s doing well for a mom who’s getting a lot of hate on the internet, in real life, basically everywhere. She’s been getting a lot of offers such as free daycare, medical insurance, a house, that sort of thing, but she’s surprisingly rejected most of those offers. For a mom who’s children will cost her a lot of money to take care of, she’s willing to do all of the parenting and with the support of her family as well, and let’s face it. Isn’t family the only thing you can turn to?

Still, why is she getting all this hate? Why is everybody hating on a single woman who’s had octuplets getting so much hate from everybody, why is everybody hating her because she has chosen some insane choices that she had made. Everybody is free to make their own choices, whether or not they have a plan for what insane decision that they might but I’m sure that she has a plan for supporting her octuplets in the near future, that’s what everybody dreams about, making choices without worrying about the public ridiculing every moment and every decision that you might make. Though in this day of age, the nature of the internet can be rather insulting, with people either making one sided insults, making stupid parodies, or giving an honest opinion on this situation.

Seriously, she’s trying to raise eight kids, eight. You know not many people know how lucky she is that all of her kids are alive and well and didn’t die from complications. She’s trying her best to raise her children in a positive environment, trying her best to wan off any criticisms of her, trying her best to be a single mom with eight kids and no dad to raise them all, trying her best not to get forced onto the streets due to failing to pay her bills with her having money issues and the recession hitting hard. You’re treating this person like Britney Spears and I’m not acting like Chris Crocker in that I’m going to breakdown and yell out something over the treatment of this woman. I’m just giving my opinion from a parental point of view, but seriously…

I hope that she gets through it okay, I also hope she gets a potential 2-story middle class house and gives the best available life to her kids and I hope that the public stops overreacting and giving her a negative image because I’d know that she’d be a good parent based on the fact that she’s currently doing a decent job taking care of her eight children, holding each one of them for various amounts of time and making sure every one gets an equal amount of love. I also hope that her scholarship goes well since she’s been planning to go back to school, a wise choice, not one person could know enough and learning everything could give her an advantage. Still, I just wish that TMZ and mostly every other gossip site stop hating on her and go back to what they do best, dishing the dirt on celebrities.

Okay, so I hear Windows 7 is the toast of the town. It’s fast, better then Windows Vista and has very few issues except for some bugs that need to be fix. Unfortunately the quality of Windows 7 can lead one man named Kelly Poe to create a website called releasewindows7.com which aims to release Windows 7 on the market, as-it-is, in beta form, now. Now I don’t know the guy nor does anyone else, but he does say that he’s a major Windows fan and he loves a lot of things… I’m trying to wrap my head around why this is important. He say a lot that he’s really excited about the reviews of beta versions of Windows 7 (I don’t know if he uses Windows 7 himself) from only two sources, Leo Laporte and Paul Thurott (who ironically hosts a podcast with Leo on the same network, and woefully rejects this stupid thing) and according to those reviews that say that the Beta is surprisingly good, he decided to do this thing. This thing looks like something stupid that I would do surprisingly.

Okay, he says he understands that he understands bug fixes and taking the time to make sure it’s ready for mass consumption and the entire thing was created to show a community that they’re ready for Windows 7 and they’re apparently proud of it. Really, this doesn’t make any sense. If you wanted to create a group that shows people that are truly excited for Windows 7 then you’d probably create a Facebook group on it or join some Windows forum or create an IRC chatroom titled #windows7, that would of make tons more sense then this publicity grabbing site there is. Really, there should be some community to release Duke Nukem Forever, that’s being developed for a long time and should of flown a long time ago, that way the game would be released and Duke Nukem Forever would finally not be identified as vaporware. Seriously creating a community with the basis that you want to release Windows 7 now is stupid, instead you should of been entirely honest and just said that you were just excited for Windows 7.

Honestly, releasing a product now would be utter chaos, just look at the premature release of Windows ME, there were lots of flaws, bugs, and most importantly lots of crashes and BSoD’s which drove people to the near brink of insanity. Windows Vista was similar due to the fact that there were lots of incompatible hardware and software out there, people had to buy much more powerful hardware due to the higher system requirements and the 7 confusing editions. If Windows 7 were released now, then it’d be a nightmare for everyone to see that Windows 7 has disappointed everyone who believed in it. Software needs time to perfect (though I do say that they’re capable of making it to RC faster), to make a perfect experience for everybody, to make it sell and to make it exceed everyone’s expectations like every release of Mac OS X.

The site has even got some publicity due to the because of the avidness of the Windows fan and the impossibility of releasing Windows 7, and most of it seems to be making fun of it. Even though he does not get the idea, he still appreciates all of the publicity he’s getting and even posts it on his website. He’s even proud of a mention on MacBreak Weekly (if you’ve gotten a mention on a Mac specific podcast, that means they’re really taking you “seriously”) and “Microsoft” is reaching out to interview him… I’ll take this with a grain of salt because when Windows 7 is released which is to most people late 2009/early 2010 and after his 15 minutes of internet fame are up then Kelly Poe will go back to obscurity and this will be just another internet meme by 4chan but will instantly spread across the internet within a few weeks, which is what may happen due to the fact that releasing stuff now will likely be the new internet catchphrase mixed in with lots of products we wished got released.

So that’s it in a nutshell. I want to say a few words before I end this, why does he ™ everything. It’s not a big problem but it definitely isn’t required. I use a lot of words without trademarks at the end generally because it doesn’t matter whether it’s at the end, because nobody’s going to sue for a word that’s being used in a general context. They’ll only sue when it’s used in an inappropriate and infringing context. Also he’s trying to start a community about people excited about Windows 7. To me, a community is where people can hang out, make new friends, talk about anything, share stuff with them and have a good time while doing it. Mostly all I see is a petition for people who want Windows 7 released now and the only thing that resembles a community is that Facebook group page a fan created. If he’s serious about making a community then he’ll have to rethink everything and take down that stupid petition in the first place. I appreciate what he’s trying to do but I don’t think it’ll work.

Running a blog is hard, I thought I’d have everything to talk about but I guess that I was wrong, mostly because many of the topics I’ve encountered don’t seem blog worthy or I have not experienced the service enough to blog on the issue alone. I know that I shouldn’t complain but I mostly thought that it would be easy sailing, guess not, guess nothing’s going on at the time. Anyways, people these days seem to be making a lot of mistakes and acting out recently, as is the norm for a lot of stories out there on Digg or whatever, and as my job of 1 out of trillions of bloggers around the world. I must write up opinions on these issues so that they may have some chance of being heard by the masses. As with the issue over at Digg over someone who discovered that the auto-bury exists over someone who had some issues, issues which are present in an anti-digg blog that he created after he had “enough” of Digg and wanted to blog about how bad Digg can apparently be.

This revolved over an auto-bury feature being discovered after Mike Venon, the person formally known as nitmeh3, acted out on Digg after he noticed that his submissions were being automatically buried (full story here). Then it was discovered that he had 3 blocked accounts before and to apparently prevent any damage to the Digg community, his posts were being buried. I don’t get how this works exactly considering that he might be reforming himself, if anyone knows how this works, comment below! So after talking to a few of his Digg friends, who were trying to give helpful advice but instead he decided to let his anger take over and sent an obscene message requesting him to ban him, which they delightfully did. They also offered to reactivate his account should he choose to calm down or discover that he was acting foolish all along. I know that some of you remember that I might of acted stupid, angry and blind a lot of the time but as a guy who’s blogging about this situation, I have a lot to say about him.

First of all, getting banned from Digg 3 times was very stupid, I don’t know what he did (go out on some user, go out on Digg, or break the ToS), but attempting to come back means even more trouble if you got banned previously. Seriously, if you’ve been given 3 chances to fix your behavior or learn from what you did and you break those 3 chances then that means you’re probably not going to learn your previous mistakes or you have some serious issues going on down there. Even though this guy has been given restrictive terms (IE, not being able to digg upcoming stories and not being able to be featured on the front page) but still, he’s angry because he’s unable to cope to the restrictive terms of his 4th chance to be a member on Digg and even after talking with many of his fellow Digg users, with many of them telling them to just “Let it go, it’s nothing major, who cares if you’re on the front page.” but unfortunately he decided to let his anger get in the way and as fate would have it, he acted very childish.

Also he’s doing a very, very, very stupid thing. Instead of realizing that the way he might of been acting might of been a sign that he needed to change. He sort of developed his own views against Digg and has created what he calls the “Digg Ban Rampage”, a sort of unnecessary uprising against the evilness of Digg and their “overmoderation” of users. I’ve been on the site for a while and I have not felt someone telling me what to do or forcing my words to be altered in a way that wouldn’t offend anyone. Mostly this restriction is mainly in their heads, unless I encounter some sort of “overmoderation” then I think they’re crazy, seriously. Their gaming the system in a fruitless attempt to get Digg to notice them and to get their vengeance for being “wrongly” banned and to make Digg users realize that Digg is not really what it seems. Also they posted a really ineligible but readable image that was obviously made in paint. It’s obviously NSFW but it contains a very crude message about sticking something inside the rears of Digg moderators.

Look, the only way that you can bring change is if many of you email Digg support, email Kevin Rose, just show your general support. Not by doing this, not by doing what they’re doing currently. I think that Digg’s staff would treat you better if you acted better or acted appropriately or better yet, if you just would of not gotten in trouble at all. Because if you constantly get in trouble then they might stop treating you a bit seriously and treat you like a user who might get into trouble again, and that might be very, very bad for Digg. That goes for the users who are even on the rampage, you’re not getting anywhere. You are going to disrupt the experience for many established users, you might even drive away new users who’ll think that Digg is a bad place to go due to the fact that they think they can’t control their users. I assure you this is not the way to go, this will just end in pity and you’ll be digging a deeper hole for yourself then the one you are currently in.

Seriously, I hope that this issue dissolves and everyone can live happily ever after. These guys seriously need some help getting outside to the real world or just need some counseling and some seriously needed punishment. The fact that they’re going to game the system just because these guys got in trouble is inexcusable, gaming the system just to get the message across. Whatever message that is, it’s bad, it’s unnecessary and it could of been spread if the users would of been following the Terms of Service and it’s also an example that people should learn from their past mistakes. I wish them the best of luck at seeking help or a local physiologist to help them get their life back in shape and make them realize that what they’ve been doing is wrong. Also I’m still taking that break and also I’m not dead as my Twitter stream suggests, no. Merely I’m doing the same thing Megan is currently doing. Sad to see her show ending but hey, it’s her decision, she needs more time with the kids. In the meantime, I’ll break my twitter-silence eventually, just keep on watching.

Hmmm… I wonder what happened to them? They used to be such a lively couple. Performing together, creating songs and remixes about each other, being covered in nearly every celebrity gossip site there is, releasing really great albums. But what happened a few days ago really set their careers on a really steep slope and a huge amount of fallout for both stars. No seriously, Chris Brown’s having his endorsement deals suspended, his music pulled, his Sesame Street episode pulled indefinitely and on top of that, he’s a walking dead man with Jay-Z threatening to beat up Chris Brown if the story is true. Rihanna’s canceling her concerts and performances all for the sake of issues she had with her previous encounter. Not only that, but I think they might of broken off the engagement, with the two sort of on edge. Who could of known how this could of happened, how it all broke down within a few days before the Grammys.

According to various news sources (including TMZ) Rihanna and Chris Brown got into a fight that was probably started by a text message, their jealousy, or any other related factor that might of pushed him to the edge. Anyways, I’ve heard that Rihanna suffered some burses, bite marks, some possibly nasty stuff and according to her, it’s not the first time that’s happened as she’s been abused many times before by him, it’s kind of sad when they try to keep up that dream couple feeling when it’ll eventually go down in flames. So afterwards, Chris Brown turned himself in and that’s where the downward spiral begin. When he was released, he traveled in a black SUV heading for home and Rihanna, well she had to make some sacrifices since she was in that incident. That’s a summary of what has happened and what is happening now as we speak. Even now, MTV is planning to air a documentary type show that’ll analyze every aspect of their relationship as well as milk a lot of money off of this.

I feel bad for both of them, but especially Rihanna since she’s the one who suffered a lot (not numerically but emotionally and physically). I wonder what happened to Chris Brown, he’s a great R&B star (even though I don’t know him personally), the self proclaimed future of R&B and known for his mix of Usher and Michael Jackson (particularly Michael Jackson). He’s released 2 albums which spawned a plethora of hits, he’s become a superstar in his own right and he has been known to be madly in love with Rihanna, propounding his love every which way, including having a fight with T.I. over Rihanna. But why did he have to keep this dream romance together, especially considering the fact that mostly these romances have a 10% chance of succeeding. I feel that he tried to keep too tight of a leash on her, I feel that his jealousy over that text message was a bit over the edge and trying to keep him and her happy just doesn’t work well if you don’t match up that well, just look at Mariah Carey and Tommy Mottola’s marrige.

But Rihanna, she’s suffered the worst. Receiving really physical abuse from her former boyfriend Chris Brown over jealousy and wanting to have possibly a perfect marriage, physical wounds heal but I don’t think her mental ones will heal at all, ever. This is the downside from men trying to be the superior being over woman and trying to control everything in their life, and trying to beat their woman so that they’d support their man better, abuse is not the way to go when trying to make a perfect relationship. That’s why most people are in jail right now, because they can’t control themselves. Seriously, The girl who’s released 3 chart-topping albums and we can’t forget about “Disturbia” written by Chris Brown. Still, sad to see her get straight into a situation that she couldn’t get away from and for Chris Brown, he couldn’t even get out of. Having a man abuse a woman just isn’t right and in their cases, it’s kind of disturbing.

Still, I wish the both the best of luck on trying to resolve their now persistent issues. Because most people do not like to see their career and their life destroyed in the process. Sure Chris Brown might of lost every bit of his endorsement, fame, and recognition and Rihanna might of lost some of her self consciousness, and what he did to her was wrong but people need to forgive right? Even though Chris Brown won’t be able to get Rihanna back as her girlfriend now. Also some of you may note that I’ve become inactive recently or I have stopped updating my blog regularly. Well just to let you know that I’m not dead and I am still taking a break and thinking about some things. This break has really proven to be essential as it allowed me to view things into perspective and don’t worry, I’ll be back posting updates on a regular basis and interacting with you guys again. I don’t know when that’s going to be exactly but hey, keep waiting, I’ll pop up eventually.
