Charlie the Youtuber: threeout of four accounts that i know of blocked, and due to my questioning on another of his accounts, his last remaining account has blcoked me-though he still comments against me.
Yet another person who appaers unable to google the name 'Evelyn Hooker', and don't get me started on his raps. Seriously, don't. I can't stand rap at the best of times. Listening to him makes defenestrating myself sound entertaining.

Hey Taylor. Thanks for your question. I hope I don't embarrass you when I say that it was totally open and honest. Most people just
either ignore the issue or tell me not so politely where to put it. Or, in the worst cases they call me a retard. So much for 5th grader humor.
I have a child with cognitive impairment. It's how I became aware of how hurtful it is to hear the word retard as slang. Perhaps calling Charlie
an idiot or moron or doofus or douche-bag would be better. It's just that there are lots of people out there with the medical diagnosis of mentally
retarded like my child and it's dehumanizing to hear it used day in and day out as something unworthy.

I'm sorry if I offended any special needs people but I called him retarded not based on what I think of him, but because of his actual logic and intelligence. If there is any other, less offensive term or word to describe Charlie Check'm, give me one.

No matter what you think of Charlie, calling him retarded is just wrong. It's demeaning to people with special needs and makes you sound like a 5th grader.
